Remolina Tango School was founded in Limassol in 2014 by Marco Remolina, a dancer trained in the milongas of Buenos Aires. The name Remolina — a whirlpool, a spiral — captures the essence of tango: two people in orbit around a shared centre.
We teach Argentine tango in its authentic form: as an improvised conversation between two people, guided by music, touch, and presence. There are no routines to memorise — only a language to learn.
Our school is home to dancers from across Cyprus and beyond — beginners who have never danced before, expats seeking connection, and experienced dancers deepening their practice. The milonga on Friday nights is open to all.
